Implementation
Master Record Remediation
We removed the master/local record functionality entirely, giving the privacy team full ownership and control over inventory data. This was not a minor configuration change. It required careful migration to preserve data integrity while eliminating the inheritance patterns that had been causing problems. The result was a cleaner, more predictable data model that the team could maintain with confidence.
PIA and DPIA Reconstruction
The assessment templates were rebuilt from scratch. We replaced flat questionnaire designs with logic-driven architecture that adapted questions based on prior responses. Attribute mappings connected questionnaire responses to inventory records for downstream visibility.
AI Workflow Automation
We configured two AI project intake workflows and one questionnaire review workflow to automate governance operations. The architecture supported bulk import of over one hundred governance records, enabling the team to load existing AI project data efficiently rather than entering it manually. Project-to-asset relationship mapping was integrated so that every AI initiative connected to its associated data assets, which proved critical for understanding risk exposure across the portfolio.
Forward-Looking Roadmap
Beyond immediate deliverables, we defined a roadmap for continued platform optimization. This included consent management enhancements, cookie governance improvements, and Global Privacy Control implementation, positioning the organization to stay ahead of regulatory requirements rather than scrambling to catch up.
